ADHD and kids’ sports

Many kids with ADHD are talented at sports. Their energy and (often) light agility mean that they are very often great dancers, gymnasts, climbers and footballers - amongst many other sports. Take a look at some of the great ADHD sports people in the line up below.

But sometimes the heat of the excitement and the need for team discipline can be a challenge. For this reason we developed a Guide for Sports Coaches on ADHD with Drumchapel United FC.

ADHD Friendly Football Coaching for kids

We have worked with David Seager and his team of fantastic youth coaches at GOALS Glasgow West in Clydebank on kids' coaching which is ADHD, Autism and Asperger's friendly.

It runs every Friday night:

5.30pm for 5 - 8 year olds

6.30pm for 9 - 12 year olds
